We do not collect or store sensitive data such as health or biometric information.

  • To improve Simulos and train AI tools (anonymized only)

  • To analyze user behavior and improve product experience (e.g. with PostHog)

We may use your email address to send transactional or product-related communications such as simulation invitations, approval requests, and account notifications. These messages are necessary for using the Service and do not include marketing content. We do not send promotional or marketing emails without your explicit consent.

We will never sell your personal information without consent.

Simulos leverages enterprise-grade large language models (“LLMs”) and voice agents provided by vetted vendors (including providers such as Vapi and OpenAI) under commercial agreements. These third-party providers operate their own safety filters and may process simulation content in accordance with their privacy policies and terms. We configure vendor services to limit retention where feasible and monitor outputs with human oversight to ensure simulations remain on-script and appropriate.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Contractual necessity: to provide and manage your Simulos account and simulations

  • Legitimate interests: to improve our product and understand user behavior

  • Consent: for any optional marketing communications or cookies

  • Stripe (subscription management, payment processing, and invoicing)

We retain subscription and billing records as required by law (e.g., tax or accounting regulations), even if you request deletion of your user account. We may also retain anonymized usage data (e.g., credit usage trends) for analytics and product improvement.

We implement security measures such as HTTPS encryption, secure storage, and role-based access. However, no platform is 100% secure, and use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and third-party tools to analyze site usage and improve performance. These include Google Analytics and PostHog, which may track user behavior, including clicks, page views, navigation flows, UTM parameters, and referral sources to help us improve our onboarding and product experience. You’ll be informed when non-essential cookies are used and may decline them.

We use tools like PostHog to understand how users interact with Simulos. These tools may track behavioral data such as clicks, navigation paths, referral sources, page visits, and UTM campaign parameters. This helps us improve user experience, onboarding flows, and product design. Data is pseudonymized where possible and never sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
